Abstract
The goal of learning and communicating makes the world go round and round. Communication strategies and managing communication breakdowns also adheres to teacher’s discretion of how the lecture be delivered and addressed to the learners. This will can help enhance the knowledge of the teachers in their view of Communicative Competencies and how they are able to adapt and adjust to the dealings of the society and the management of classrooms. Five C’s had been practiced in the urge of answering this research. Communication, Culture, Comparison, Communities, Connections. This study used a descriptive method in the Assessment of Communicative Language Teaching and Competencies of LPU SHS Teachers: Basis for Training and Development Planning. The respondents of the study were the participating English teachers from LPU – Batangas, they were categorized into three divisions: College, Senior High School and Junior Highschool respectively. It was revealed that Teachers are competitive with the various competencies finds significant importance to each and every teacher. It serves as their guide to perfecting the use of the language in their everyday teaching– learning series. Among these are the various competencies that had been weighted by the LPU English teachers. It was recommended to the school administrators, department head and other faculty members that they may be able to know the variations of communicative styles so that the various teachers implore in the study of English. The Students so that they can understand better how communicative competencies are directed by the teachers to them.
