IN21-017 The Dissemination of Bao Gong Story through Present Thai’s New Oral Method During Year 2000-2020

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze how Chinese literature and art were disseminated through present Thai’s oral method as well as their influence, especially Bao Gong story. Meanwhile, it aimed to understand an oral communication behavior of the present Thai. This research used information from internet during year 2000-2020 as an informant, then, the result found that 1) the dissemination of Chinese literature and art were begun in Thai-Chinese family, 2) the present Thai’s oral communication behavior was changed and often occurred in internet space, 3) they used five new oral methods to disseminate the Bao Gong story, namely exchanging opinions in web board, editing, using as slang, existing in dream interpretation ways, and re-disseminating under the influence of 1996 version TV drama “Bao Qing Tian”. The change of oral communication behavior is very meaningful to the dissemination of Chinese literature and art, thus researcher should concentrate.
